It did crash for me as well the first time, but after uninstalling completely and downloading the "demo" and re-activating instead of upgrading, all problems went away. So far, the players by themselves without external software are perfect firmware wise. Meh, that's technology for you. I would probably never use this in a club setting anyway just burn a USB stick or SD card , but come on, at least if it crashes you should be able to re-open the application.
